Descripción:
- El sensor de velocidad magnético indica cuando los dientes de la corona u otras proyecciones ferrosas pasan la punta del sensor.
- Los impulsos eléctricos se inducen dentro de la bobina y se envían a la unidad de control de velocidad. La señal del sensor de velocidad magnético, dientes por segundo (HZ), es directamente proporcional a la velocidad del motor.
- El sensor de velocidad magnético está montado en la caja de la corona o en la campana del volante del motor.
- El orificio roscado para el sensor de velocidad debe ser perpendicular a la línea central del cigüeñal y centrado sobre los dientes de la corona.
- Debe haber una superficie puntual para proporcionar una superficie plana sobre la cual anclar la contratuerca.
- Con el motor parado, enrosque el sensor de velocidad hasta que toque un diente del engranaje, luego retírelo 3/4 de vuelta y asegúrelo con la contratuerca.
- Se puede utilizar cualquier equipo ferroso siempre que la frecuencia y amplitud de la señal resultante cumplan con las especificaciones de la unidad de control de velocidad.
- Los cables deben estar trenzados en toda su longitud desde el sensor magnético de velocidad hasta la unidad de control.
- Es posible que los cables necesiten blindaje si miden más de 10 pies (3 m) o si hay interferencias externas.
- No conecte ninguno de los cables del sensor de velocidad a nada que no sea la unidad de control de velocidad utilizada. El blindaje no debe conectarse en el extremo del sensor de velocidad.
